Description

After centuries of slumber, you awaken as a vampire to discover that your once-magnificent estate has fallen into ruin. Your fortune is gone, your mansion is crumbling, and the world has moved on without you.

But why go through the trouble of hunting for victims when you can simply open a hotel and have them come to you?

Welcome to Bloody Hell Hotel, a first-person hotel management sandbox where you'll renovate your mansion, welcome unsuspecting guests, grow food, cook delicious meals, craft weapons, and explore procedurally generated, monster-infested dungeons beneath your estate.

Of course, running a hotel comes with its challenges. Guests expect comfortable rooms, excellent service, and preferably not to disappear under mysterious circumstances. You'll need to manage your reputation, keep suspicious visitors off your back, and make sure vampire hunters don't catch on to your little business venture.

But how you spend your immortal life is entirely up to you. Run a peaceful hotel, devote yourself to farming and cooking, or leave hospitality behind and become a powerful dungeon-crawling vampire. Most activities are optional, and there's more than one way to accomplish almost anything.

Whether you become a beloved hotelier or the reason your guests never check out is entirely up to you.

Features

Your Immortal Life, Your Rules

Bloody Hell Hotel is a sandbox built around player freedom. Close your hotel and spend your days farming, cooking, or exploring dungeons. Experiment with different playstyles and discover new ways to progress with each playthrough.

You can even live a peaceful existence without spilling a drop of innocent blood. The Vampiric Council will happily sell you some. Of course, if you'd rather embrace your darker instincts, that's an option too.

Renovate Your Mansion

Your grand estate has seen better centuries. Clean up the mess, repair what's broken, and transform a crumbling mansion into a magnificent hotel. Furnish and decorate guest rooms, upgrade your facilities, and gradually bring your establishment back to its former glory.

Run a Hotel to Die For

Welcome guests, manage reservations, prepare rooms, serve meals, and keep your customers happy. Or don't! Vampires aren't exactly known for their hospitality. Build your reputation with the Vampiric Council, manage your finances, and expand your business. Eventually, you can hire staff to handle some of the everyday work. Being an immortal creature of the night doesn't mean you should have to clean every toilet yourself.

Farm, Cook, and Serve

Running a hotel requires a steady supply of food. Grow crops, cultivate mushrooms, collect eggs from zombie chickens, and milk your undead cow. Turn your harvest into delicious meals using hands-on cooking mechanics, and serve your guests a variety of dishes.

Or slip a sedative into their dinner and rob them while they sleep.

And if you happen to run out of meat, well... let's just say you have options.

Explore the Dungeons

Deep beneath your mansion lies a dangerous underground world filled with monsters, valuable resources, and hidden secrets. Venture into procedurally generated dungeons, mine resources to craft better weapons, battle cute monsters with anger issues, and uncover the secrets lurking below.

Become a Powerful Vampire

Choose from six distinct vampire classes, each with its own skill tree, weapon specialization, and supernatural abilities. Upgrade your powers and develop a fighting style that suits you. Or turn some of your guests into thralls and send them into the dungeons if fighting isn't your thing.

If you prefer a hands-on approach, fight enemies with a variety of blades, supernatural attacks, and other vampiric tricks. Transform into a bat to navigate your surroundings and evade danger. There's a whole world of supernatural power to master, and you've had centuries to catch up on.

Craft, Build, and Upgrade

Put the resources you gather to good use. Forge weapons, build new facilities, and upgrade your production systems. From blacksmithing to food preparation, there's always something that needs improving.

Your hotel won't build itself. Although, with enough help, you might eventually get pretty close.

Keep the Vampire Hunters Away

Not everyone appreciates your entrepreneurial spirit. Suspicious behavior, disappearing guests, and other unfortunate incidents can attract unwanted attention.

Manage suspicion, protect your estate, and keep the vampire hunters at bay. You may be immortal, but your business certainly isn't.

About the Developer

Bloody Hell Hotel is developed by Unfold Games, an independent game studio founded by film composer Wlad Marhulets.

The studio is known for its debut title, DARQ, a critically acclaimed puzzle adventure recognized for its distinctive atmosphere, surreal environments, and gravity-defying gameplay.

With Bloody Hell Hotel, Unfold Games has set itself an audacious goal: to create the most ambitious first-person simulation game in existence. As ridiculous as that might sound, it's the standard the studio is striving for. Does that mean it'll be the best game in the world? Maybe yes. Maybe not. Maybe definitely not.
